ESCO Institute has announced the release of a refrigeration simulation training program. The HVACR 3D training package will help users develop cognitive skills, and provide students and practicing technicians with a mechanism to safely learn and practice processes and procedures directly related to servicing and troubleshooting commercial refrigeration systems.
The training materials are accessible from any location provided the user has a computer, smartphone or tablet. Students can learn at their own pace, or reinforce what they learn in class, which ESCO Institute sources say creates the perfect platform for any blended educational environment.
The training is offered in six modules. Upon completing one module, the system "unlocks" access to the next session, to ensure the training is completed as it was intended to be. The six modules are:
- Module 1: Gauge Manifold – Installation and Removal
- Module 2: Standing Pressure Test
- Module 3: Evacuation and Holding Charge
- Module 4: Charging
- Module 5: Recovery
- Module 6: The final module is an assessment exam
