Delmar, part of Cengage Learning and a leading provider of learning solutions for ongoing career development and education, and DEWALT have announced the release of the DEWALT Contractor's Exam Preparation (CEP) portal, a new online resource containing web-based courses to help Construction Professionals prepare for licensing and certification exams.
The DEWALT CEP portal provides professionals working in the areas of building, electrical, plumbing or heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) with the resources necessary to prepare for a licensing exam. Within the CEP portal, subscribers will have exclusive online access to test preparation and remediation materials that help to raise the probability of passing a licensing test on the first attempt.
The CEP portal contains numerous practice tests, with hundreds of sample questions for each topic area offered. Additionally, the portal features, immediate grading with answer keys, a timer to monitor how long it takes to complete the test, study tips and code references for applicable questions.
"We are excited to introduce a new, more convenient way for students to access our DEWALT exam preparation materials," said Greg Clayton, vice president, Delmar. "Once a tradesman has completed all schooling and training in the field, the licensing exam is essentially the 'final step' of the process. We are working to make the preparation for this important step as effective and accessible as possible. Those studying for their exam will now have instant access to practice tests and related references, all through the convenience of a simple internet connection."
The DEWALT preparation materials within the portal will each be offered for under $50, with a Business & Project Management Course also available for just $20.
Exam preparation materials within the CEP portal will cover building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and business & project management, and will prepare professionals for the following exams and topic areas:
