Phil Wohltman, a long-time veteran of the HVAC industry, died on November 29 in Phoenix, after a year-long fight with cancer. He was 61.

Most recently a regional sales manager for the Johnson Controls York®, Coleman® and Luxaire® brands, Wohltman spent 32 years in the HVAC business as a regional sales manager. He was named Coleman’s Regional Sales Manager of the Year in 2002.

“Phil earned the respect of his customers and peers by having the courage to stand up for what he felt was right." — Andy Rowland

In his spare time, Phil was an avid golfer and outdoorsman, spending two weeks in the Rocky Mountains every summer.

“Phil earned the respect of his customers and peers by having the courage to stand up for what he felt was right. I learned a lot from Phil about the HVAC industry, but even more about being true to yourself and your beliefs. I am lucky to call him my friend," said Andy Rowland, vice president of sales, western region.

Wohltman is survived by his wife, Marsha, and their four children, Mindy, Matthew, Morgan and Molly.
