EPA Brochure Helps Explain R-22 Phaseout

The EPA has published a brochure to help technicians understand key information related to the phaseout of refrigerant R-22.

The refrigerant R-22 is being phased out due to its ozone depletion characteristics. As of January 1, 2010, R-22 will only be available to service existing R-22 equipment. The attached PDF lists key phaseout dates.
