Friedrich doesn't want HVAC contractors or their customers sweating over split system choices.

Friedrich, San Antonio, TX, has introduced the Next Generation of Ductless Split Systems that can beat the heat in any type of room in residential or light commercial applications. The wide range of models offers contractors a variety of choices when it comes to selecting the right system to meet their customers’ needs.

Sources report the ductless line is ideal for rooms without exterior walls or windows and comes in single or multi-zone configurations while servicing up to four independent zones. Each indoor unit offers the convenience of individual room control for optimizing comfort.

Innovative features make the Friedrich wall mounted unit much easier to install than many of its competitors by reducing installation time and complexity. A proprietary mounting bracket aligns to 16-in. on center wall studs, ensuring a level and secure attachment to the wall and a special standoff bracket creates more room for installation. A remote control is included and an optional wired, wall-mounted control is also available.

HVAC contractors can choose from a selection of models in various capacities to suit their customers’ requirements with single-zone cooling, single-zone heat pumps for cooling and heating, and multi-zone heat pumps available.

Four-way ceiling cassettes are ideal where wall space is limited or ceiling installation is preferred. The cassette mounts flush to the ceiling with only the grille visible. Its neutral, clean look makes it a great choice for drop ceiling applications. It comes standard with a remote control.

Concealed duct heat pumps work well in areas where minimal visibility of the heating and cooling system is desired. Ideally suited for applications where wall space is limited or the ceiling is the preferred installation location with only a small vent opening visible in the ceiling. This system is ideal for large areas. The heat pump delivers powerful, energy-efficient zone heating and cooling with up to three tons of capacity and requires minimal ductwork.
