The life of a contractor is often compared to that of a firefighter.  You are running to put out one fire after another, followed by periods of downtime when nothing is happening.  Gulp!  A simple tool every contractor can deploy to control the fires and minimize the downtime, or at least put it to productive use, is the daily plan.
